At the heart of this dinner is Chef Ben from Blackhawk Provisions, whose culinary philosophy is deeply rooted in sourcing the freshest local ingredients. His dedication to regenerative agriculture ensures that each dish not only delights the palate but also honors the land and community from which it originates. Together with Chef Ben, we’re crafting an evening that celebrates local flavors and ingredients, carefully selected to bring our guests together for a meal that is as nourishing as it is delicious.
This Field to Fork dinner will feature a five-course family-style meal that highlights the bounty of Iowa’s sustainable agriculture. Each course is designed to paint a picture of where our food comes from, telling a story of the land, the farmers, and the vibrant community that makes it all possible. To complement this immersive dining experience, Iowa Distilling Company will provide craft cocktails featuring their signature spirits, including a smooth IDC Straight Bourbon cocktail, a refreshing Blackberry Lemonade made with Zone Vodka, and a vibrant Country Gal Moonshine cocktail.
